Resources for Human Development (RHD) is hiring a Community Inclusion Specialist in Massachusetts (Community-Based). The role is full-time with a $23.09/hour pay and DailyPay option, supporting adults with developmental disabilities through community-based activities and individualized programs.

You will implement ISPs, promote independence, and help participants achieve personal goals while ensuring safety and documentation are maintained.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of three years of experience supporting adults with developmental disabilities.
• Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and safely transport individuals using a personal vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Support adults with developmental disabilities through community-based activities, outings, and individualized programming.
• Implement ISPs and person-centered goals.
• Facilitate recreational, educational, vocational, and social activities.
• Promote independence, self-advocacy, and community participation.
• Provide transportation to activities and appointments.
• Complete required documentation and activity records.
• Manage outing budgets and related expenses.
• Ensure health, safety, and well-being of participants, providing basic first aid when needed.
