Job summary

Millennium Health in Seattle, WA is hiring a Full-Time Specimen Collector II. You will collect patient urine and/or oral fluid specimens, process and package collections for shipping, and act as the liaison between the clinic and the laboratory.

The role requires travel throughout Washington and Oregon and a 5am-1pm schedule. Ideal candidates have 6+ months in specimen collection or 1+ years in a medical setting with 2+ years of customer service experience.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of specimen collector experience or 1+ year in medical field
• 2+ years of customer service experience allowed in place of medical experience
• Demonstrated ability to navigate a smartphone and computer

Responsibilities

• Collect patient urine and/or oral fluid specimens
• Process and package collections for shipping
• Serve as intermediary between clinic and laboratory
• Record patient information, physician order details, and laboratory data
• Resolve specimen concerns with billing or patient information in ordering portal
• Order and maintain collection supplies inventory onsite
• Observe collection for Millennium Health specimens (when applicable)
