Job summary

United Way of Southern Nevada Inc is seeking a Community Impact Program Specialist to provide administrative and project support to CI Managers, Directors and the Senior Director. This role handles data entry, reporting, meeting coordination and client referrals to essential services, requiring strong organizational abilities and empathy for diverse communities.

The position supports emergency assistance, community impact grants, and supportive services, with occasional travel to client sites

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Urban Studies, Emergency Management, or a similar field.
• Two years of administrative support or social services experience preferred.
• Ability to prioritize workload and meet project deadlines.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
• Ability to speak, read and write in English and a second language preferred.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to UWSN Program Directors and Managers.
• Respond to community member and partner inquiries in English and other languages.
• Assist in compiling and submitting reports to funders.
• Create agendas, invitations, and meeting minutes.
• Process applications and requests for assistance from community members and corporate partners.
• Refer community members to food, housing, and other resources.
• Perform data entry and data cleaning for project needs.
• Develop and disseminate reports and related documents promoting programs.
• Maintain organized files for multiple projects and coordinate with team members.
• Serve as liaison between CI and Marketing teams.
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills and empathy when connecting clients with resources.
• Other duties as assigned.
