Job summary

Good Shepherd Health Care in Hermiston, Oregon is seeking a Community Health Coordinator to support the Community Health Education department and its outreach programs. Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Customer service experience required.
• Preferred: 3 years in administrative/office setting.
• Preferred: previous event planning/management experience.
• Spanish language ability preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides customer service for all Community Health & Outreach departments (phone calls, patient walk-ins, and appointments).
• Assigns referrals to appropriate department and/or Community Health Worker.
• Maintains a current list of community resources and services.
• Schedules, coordinates, and completes data entry for CPR/BLS classes.
• Data collection and inventory management for all community benefit services.
• Manages department inventory and warehouse items.
• Supports CareVan scheduling/appointment management.
• Assists with scheduling and coordinating all community classes and events.
• Gathers materials for 40+ events/year and coordinates staffing.
• Supports Employee Wellness program and data entry.
• Assists with community health messaging and social media postings.
• Maintains records for CHO programs, events, classes, and grants.
