Neighborhood Health Center in Richmond, IN seeks an Enrollment and Outreach Specialist to provide client-focused, community-based services. The role helps clients access insurance coverage and removes barriers to care, with emphasis on Medicaid/Medicare options and outreach.

This full-time position includes travel to outreach events, documentation in patient records, and certification requirements (Indiana Navigator, CAC, SHIP) within set timeframes, starting pay at $21.11 per hour.

Qualificações

• Required: High school graduate or GED equivalent.
• Required: 1-3 years in healthcare, business or accounting field.
• Preferred: Working knowledge of NextGen, Soarian Financials, and/or EPIC, Medicare/Medicaid compliance regulations, Microsoft Office.
• Certification deadlines: Indiana Navigator 30 days, CAC 60 days, SHIP 90 days.

Responsabilidades

• Schedules appointments to assist clients with Medicaid, SNAP, HIP, CHIP and Marketplace applications.
• Assists clients through Medicaid appeal process.
• Supports Sliding Fee applications and maintains coverage.
• Educates clients about Medicare options and insurance plans.
• Maintains current knowledge of Medicare, Marketplace and Medicaid options.
