Job summary

HealthNet is seeking an Outreach Enrollment Specialist to educate and enroll uninsured and underinsured individuals in Indianapolis and surrounding locations. The grant-funded position will float to other Indianapolis sites and follow standard hours, Monday–Friday 8am–5pm or 7:30am–4:30pm.

You’ll build community partnerships, assist with enrollment for Medicaid/ACA, and coordinate with HealthNet teams to reach diverse populations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Indiana Navigator Certification preferred but can be obtained after hiring.
• Knowledge of Medicaid, ACA, HIP 2.0 a plus.
• Driver’s License required; reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Establishing community partnerships and increasing awareness of HealthNet and their services.
• Providing outreach and enrollment assistance for all uninsured individuals.
• Collaborating with other HealthNet departments to facilitate in-reach efforts for existing patients.
• Receive and follow up on referrals (internal and external) in a timely manner.
• Identify, establish, and maintain ongoing relationships with individuals, groups, and organizations to increase awareness of health insurance options.
• Participate in community events to promote the services of the Outreach Enrollment team as well as HealthNet.
• Attend all required trainings.
