Job summary

Sinai Chicago is seeking a Community Engagement Specialist to educate and motivate individuals to enroll in Medicaid, Tax Credit, or State Marketplace plans. The role covers multiple locations on Chicago's South and West sides, handling materials and event setup, and supporting enrollment opportunities.

Responsibilities include assisting consumers with ACA options, enrollment referrals, and scheduling wellness appointments.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or GED; some college preferred.
• 1-3 years in health, sales, customer relations, or community-based settings preferred.
• Ability to talk to groups (5-50 people) to provide health education and support.

Responsibilities

• Educate and motivate individuals to enroll in Medicaid, Tax Credit, or State Marketplace health plans.
• Distribute educational/marketing materials and staff events; log daily activity.
• Refer individuals to enrollment assistance programs and health resources within Sinai Health System.
• Coordinate with community organizations to expand outreach and enrollment opportunities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
