Job summary

La Clínica de La Raza is seeking a Health Educator to educate diverse communities, facilitate health education classes, and support enrollment into health coverage. You will develop and share materials, document services for evaluation, and coordinate peer educators while engaging with community partners.

Qualifications

• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is required or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Experience providing health education to underserved communities of color is preferred.
• Ability to work across cultures and support diversity, equity and inclusion.

Responsibilities

• Provide health education classes and facilitate groups on a variety of topics.
• Enroll people into health coverage and help navigate the health care system.
• Develop and maintain health education materials and resources; publicize services.
• Document all services for program evaluation and reporting.
• Coordinate peer health educators and community outreach efforts.
• Participate in community engagement and collaborations with partner organizations.
