Sea Mar Community Health Centers in Washington state seeks a Health Educator I to provide quality health education to patients and staff, promoting preventive care and health maintenance.

You will collaborate with physicians and other professionals, develop and deliver community sessions, and maintain up-to-date educational materials. A BA/BS in a related field or 5 years of health education experience is required; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Qualifikationen

• BA/BS in Health Education, Public Health, Nursing, Education, Nutrition, or related field or 5 years of health education experience.
• Must complete pre-hire TB screening and annual TB screening; CPR/First Aid certification required.

Aufgaben

• Assess health education needs and provide education on target health topics.
• Develop and present community group health sessions; evaluate materials.
• Collaborate with clinic staff and local partners to improve health education access.
• Maintain reports and update health education materials as needed.
