Job summary

Jewish Renaissance Foundation is seeking a General Dentist to provide comprehensive dental care in an ambulatory setting and to collaborate with the Executive Team on policy and program development.

The role includes leading dental staff, ensuring QA/QI initiatives, and coordinating scheduling and workflow to deliver high-quality patient care, with potential late hours and Saturday work as needed.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted license to practice dentistry in New Jersey.
• Current CPR (BLS); ACLS preferred.
• New Jersey CDS and DEA registrations.
• Experience in a public health or community clinic setting serving low-income patients.
• Ability to lead and develop dental staff and manage a dental practice in a community health center.
• Knowledge of EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Examines patients, diagnoses oral conditions, prescribes and carries out treatment or refers for specialty care.
• Diagnoses and treats diseases and malformations of teeth and gums.
• Places braces or refers to Orthodontist when needed.
• Designs and fabricates dentures.
• Educates patients on oral health and prevention.
• Records patient-dentist transactions in the dental record.
