Job summary

YES Communities in the United States is seeking a Grounds Keeper to maintain community grounds and facilities, including mowing, trimming, and landscaping to enhance curb appeal. The role requires safe operation of equipment and adherence to OSHA standards, with duties expanding to basic repairs and winter maintenance.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid in-state driver’s license, and familiarity with Microsoft Office and work devices.

Qualifications

• A valid in-state driver’s license is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and use of a work tablet or computer.
• OSHA trainings or certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain grounds and facilities to keep them clean and visually appealing.
• Mow lawns, trim edges, and landscape around beds and walkways.
• Perform minor repairs on groundskeeping equipment.
• Follow OSHA standards and wear PPE as required.
• Respond to management-directed tasks and emergencies.
• Communicate effectively with teammates, vendors, and residents.
• Assist with delivering notices and meter reads when directed.
• Maintain safe winter conditions through snow removal and de-icing when applicable.
• Support additional duties as assigned by management.
