Job summary

Sun Communities is seeking Maintenance Technicians to upkeep residential communities in the Austin area. You will perform routine repairs, maintain grounds, and support water/utility systems while delivering strong resident service.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 6 months of maintenance experience if possible, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 6 months maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying conditions.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and preventative maintenance on homes and facilities.
• Maintains grounds, streets, and common areas for safety and appearance.
• Inspects and repairs irrigation, water, sewer, and utility systems as applicable.
• Operates snow removal where applicable and prunes landscaping as needed.
• Completes checklists and reports maintenance issues to the supervisor.
• Assists with supervision of service contractors and move-in/out support.
