Job summary

Balfour Beatty Communities in Kentucky is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain the appearance of the community and deliver world-class service to residents. You will perform outdoor cleaning, debris removal, snow removal, unit preparations, and inspections, reporting issues to the maintenance supervisor.

The role requires a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must possess a valid state driver’s license and safe driving record.
• Ability to use smart mobile devices for work tasks.
• Ability to work independently and unsupervised.
• Strong customer relations and communication skills.
• Must be available for night and weekend emergency call duty.

Responsibilities

• Clean grounds, breezeways and common areas; remove debris.
• Keep stair towers clean and free of waste.
• Ensure exterior steps have treads and are safe.
• Remove snow and apply salt in inclement weather.
• Prepare vacant units for occupancy and perform clean-out tasks.
• Inspect building exteriors and lighting; report repairs promptly.
• Follow safety and environmental policies and procedures.
• Deliver high resident satisfaction through professional interactions.
