Job summary

Balfour Beatty Communities is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain the appearance and cleanliness of our residential communities and to provide world-class service to residents.

The role involves grounds maintenance, safety checks, and preparing vacant units for occupancy, with duties split between outdoors and common facilities. A high school diploma and valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Ability to use smart mobile devices.
• Ability to work independently.
• Solid customer relations skills and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Clean, rake and collect debris from community grounds, breezeways and common areas.
• Keep all stair towers clean and free of waste.
• Ensure all exterior steps have treads and are safe.
• Remove snow and apply salt in inclement weather.
• Prepare vacant units for occupancy, including necessary clean-out tasks.
• Perform daily inspections of building exteriors and lighting; report repairs to the maintenance supervisor.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental policies and procedures.
• Deliver high resident satisfaction through responsive, professional interactions.
