Job summary

Balfour Beatty Communities in Savannah, GA is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain the appearance and cleanliness of our residential communities and to deliver world-class service to residents.

You will perform grounds maintenance, assist in safety programs, and respond to urgent after-hours calls. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work independently while delivering friendly, professional service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid state driver’s license and clean driving record required.
• Ability to use smart mobile devices.
• Ability to work independently.
• Solid customer relations skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Availability for night/weekend emergency call duty.

Responsibilities

• Clean, rake and collect debris from community grounds, breezeways and common areas.
• Keep stair towers clean and free of waste.
• Ensure exterior steps have treads and are safe.
• Remove snow and apply salt in inclement weather.
• Prepare vacant units for occupancy, including cleaning tasks.
• Perform daily inspections of building exteriors and lighting; report repairs to maintenance supervisor.
• Ensure the successful execution of all company safety and environmental policies.
• Deliver the highest level of resident satisfaction through professional interactions.
