Job summary

Balfour Beatty Communities is seeking a Groundskeeper responsible for maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of our community and delivering world-class service to residents. Responsibilities include exterior maintenance, snow removal, vacant unit prep, and daily inspections, with on-call duties as needed.

Qualified candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to use smart devices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with safe driving record required.
• Strong communication and customer-relations skills essential.
• Ability to use smart mobile devices.
• Ability to work independently and handle on-call duties nights/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Clean, rake and collect debris from community grounds and common areas.
• Keep stair towers clean and free of waste; ensure exterior steps have treads and are safe.
• Remove snow and apply salt during inclement weather.
• Prepare vacant units for occupancy and perform necessary clean-out tasks.
• Perform daily inspections of building exteriors and lighting; report repairs to maintenance supervisor.
• Support safety and environmental policies and procedures.
• Deliver high resident satisfaction through professional interactions.
