Job summary

Balfour Beatty Communities is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain community grounds and provide world-class service to residents. You will perform outdoor maintenance, safety checks, and prepare units for occupancy, contributing to a welcoming living environment.

The position requires a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work independently, with on-call night/weekend availability to ensure continuous service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
• Ability to use smart mobile devices.
• Ability to work independently.
• Solid customer relations skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Must be available for night/weekend emergency call duty.

Responsibilities

• Clean, rake and collect debris from community grounds, breezeways and common areas.
• Keep all stair towers clean and free of waste.
• Ensure all exterior steps have treads and are safe.
• Remove snow and apply salt in inclement weather.
• Prepare vacant units for occupancy, including any necessary clean-out tasks.
• Perform daily inspections of building exteriors and lighting; report repairs to maintenance supervisor.
• Ensure adherence to safety and environmental policies.
• Deliver high resident satisfaction through professional interactions.
