Job summary

Carter-Haston is seeking a full-time maintenance/grounds team member in Belville, NC. The role focuses on keeping the community clean, safe, and well-presented, both inside and out, with duties including grounds care, breezeway upkeep, and safety compliance.

Responsibilities include daily walks, reporting malfunctions, snow/ice removal, and inventory support. A minimum of six months related experience and reliable transportation are required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain appearance and cleanliness of the community and contribute to team goals.
• Clean and maintain exterior and interior breezeways/hallways.
• Inspect locks and gates to amenity spaces and report malfunctions.
• Complete daily property walks and remove litter and debris.
• Operate backpack blowers and pressure washers for grounds maintenance.
• Handle snow/ice removal of walkways, sidewalks, and parking areas.
• Assist in maintaining shop and supply inventories and communicate needs.
• Comply with OSHA regulations and safety policies.
