Job summary

CAPI USA in Minnesota is seeking a reliable Food & Nutrition Coordinator to oversee the day-to-day operations of the Food Shelf and nutrition programming. This role focuses on food access, inventory management, volunteer engagement, and participant support services within a community-centered, immigrant-led nonprofit.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
• Experience in food shelf, food access program, case management, community organizing, or customer service preferred.
• Hmong language fluency strongly preferred.
• Ability to work with diverse communities and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the Client Choice Food Shelf to ensure access to nutritious food.
• Maintain inventory, coordinate purchase, receipt, and stocking of food.
• Supervise volunteers and interns; provide training and supervision.
• Build relationships with participants; assist with applications for public benefits; connect to community resources.
