Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1+ years of prior experience in retail banking, financial services, sales, or customer service preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to build trust and rapport with a diverse customer base.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable using banking systems and standard office technology.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based branch environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers through proactive, personalized service
• Open and service consumer deposit accounts, including checking, savings, and certificates of deposit
• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products and services (e.g., loans, digital banking tools, credit solutions)
• Conduct financial conversations that support customers’ short- and long-term goals
• Process customer financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and other related services.
• Process routine transactions accurately while complying with bank policies and regulatory requirements
• Resolve customer inquiries and concerns professionally and efficiently
• Support branch goals through referrals, cross-selling, and teamwork
• Collaborate with other team members to achieve branch goals and objectives
