Puyallup Tribal Health Authority (PTHA) seeks a Medical Assistant to support patient care at our Tacoma, WA clinic. This full-time, on-site role features rooming patients, taking vital signs, immunizations, phlebotomy, and EMR documentation to keep the clinic running smoothly.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Current WA State MA-C certification.
• At least 3 years of Medical Assistant experience with patients of all ages.
• Familiarity with Electronic Health Records.

Aufgaben

• Rooming patients and preparing them for exams and procedures.
• Taking vital signs, patient histories, and performing diagnostic testing.
• Administering immunizations and medications as directed.
• Performing phlebotomy, lab procedures, and limited x-rays (if certified).
• Supporting providers and nurses with patient care and workflow.
• Assisting with scheduling, documentation, and EMR.

Ausbildung

Graduate of accredited Medical Assistant program

WA State MA-C certification

3+ years Medical Assistant experience
