Puyallup Tribal Health Authority in Tacoma, WA, is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinical operations and deliver high-quality patient care in a welcoming, on-site setting.

Core duties include rooming patients, taking vitals, administering immunizations, performing basic lab tasks, and supporting providers while maintaining organized exam rooms and accurate records.

Qualificações

• Graduated from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• WA State MA-C certification required.
• At least 3 years of Medical Assistant experience with patients of all ages.
• Familiarity with Electronic Health Records.

Responsabilidades

• Rooming patients and preparing them for exams and procedures.
• Taking vital signs, patient histories, and performing diagnostic testing.
• Administering immunizations and medications as directed.
• Performing phlebotomy, lab procedures, and limited x-rays (if certified).
• Supporting providers and nurses with patient care and workflow.
• Assisting with scheduling, documentation, and electronic medical records.
• Maintaining clean, organized, and fully stocked exam rooms.
• Delivering compassionate, patient-focused service to every individual you support.

Hiring Range: $26.85 - $33.56 per hour
