Puyallup Tribal Health Authority (PTHA) in Tacoma, WA seeks a licensed practical nurse to join our medical team. You will provide hands-on, patient-centered nursing care while supporting the health and well-being of the Indigenous community we serve.

This full-time role offers a holistic, team-based primary care environment that honors Native culture. You will perform assessments, administer medications, coordinate care, and help with exams and procedures while using an EHR system.

Qualifications

• Licensed practical nurse with WA LPN license.
• At least 1 year of ambulatory or urgent care experience.
• Current BLS certification.
• Ability to use an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.

Responsabilités

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care across ages in clinic and off-site locations.
• Perform intakes, triage, vital signs, documentation and care coordination.
• Administer medications and assist providers with examinations and procedures.
• Coordinate referrals, follow-up, patient education and care continuity.
• Support pediatrics and OB/GYN care including scheduling and follow-up.
