Job summary

You will conduct exams, radiographs, and procedures, coordinate with medical staff for medically complex patients, and contribute to quality improvement and infection control initiatives while serving American Indian communities.

Qualifications

• Requires DMD or DDS from ADA/CODA-approved school.
• Must pass NBDE and hold a current full dental license in the U.S.
• At least one year of full-time dentistry experience at GS-12 level or higher; two-year residency required for GS-12.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive dental care including exams, diagnosis, treatment planning, and procedures across specialties.
• Independently manage complex cases and coordinate with medical providers for medically complex patients.
• Deliver patient education and preventive care, addressing diverse cultural and socioeconomic needs.
• Offer consultation to healthcare teams on dental health and its impact on overall health.
• Maintain clinical records and participate in quality improvement and infection control activities.
