Metropolitan Family Services is seeking a full-time Financial Coach for the Calumet Team to support families in budget reviews, asset building, and financial education. You will manage CFS data, input credit information, and prepare reports for funding sources as part of a mission-driven team.

The role emphasizes client-centered service, adaptability, and collaboration within a community-focused nonprofit in Chicago. Bachelors with 2+ years of relevant experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years related experience working with individuals or families receiving case management and workforce development services.
• Previous experience with asset building preferred.
• Brief summary of the job, why it exists, and overall objective of the position.

Responsabilités

• Enter initial and supplemental Combined Financial Assessments (CFS(s)) into appropriate system.
• Conduct budget reviews for clients that change employment status or government benefit, including but not limited to gain or loss of employment or changes in wages.
• Responsible for preparation of required internal and external reports including analytical reports/audits to governmental agencies and other funding sources.
• Create and maintain client folders for all CWF clients which include copies of credit reports, validation letters and signed letter of consent.
• Request and input Transunion Credit Report data and scores for every financial client at least once every 6 months or as needed.
• Provide financial workshops, internally or externally, as requested.
• Other duties as assigned.
