Job summary

The Care Center, Inc. in Butler, PA is seeking a part-time clinician to provide comprehensive assessments and outpatient psychotherapy, including individual, family, and group sessions.

You will develop and implement individualized treatment plans and participate in multidisciplinary supervision and coordination. The role requires a Master’s degree in social work or psychology, eligibility for relevant credentials, and clearance approvals.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work, psychology, or related clinical discipline with a clinical practicum.
• Willingness to obtain Mental Health Professional or Certified Addiction Counselor credential.
• Ability to obtain vital information during interviews to make proper recommendations.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal staff, providers, and other social service agencies.
• Must not be excluded from Medicare, Medicaid, or any federal health care program.
• Must obtain Criminal History Clearance, Child Abuse Clearance, and FBI fingerprints.

Responsibilities

• Participates in treatment team meetings with all levels of psychiatric and clinical staff.
• Initiates intra and inter agency contacts to facilitate the care of the individuals served.
• Prepares, maintains, and submits case records, charts, reports, forms, and other required documentation.
• Adheres to all policies, laws, regulations, and codes of ethics and confidentiality.
