Job summary

Havenpark Communities is hiring an Assistant Community Manager to serve as the heartbeat of our community, acting as the operational wizard and friendly face who ensures residents feel at home. You will be the right-hand to the Community Manager, planning events, coordinating move-ins, and supporting daily operations to maintain resident happiness and stability.

You will oversee resident relations, financial operations, leasing support, and maintenance coordination with an emphasis on empathy,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of experience in property management or a similar role preferred.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Proficiency with computers and standard office software.
• Ability to sit for long periods and walk the community; lifting may be required.
• Occasional travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Build a welcoming atmosphere by addressing resident issues with care and urgency.
• Plan and execute engaging community events to foster belonging.
• Escalate complex resident concerns to the Community Manager as needed.
• Prepare bills and statements; ensure rent is collected on time.
• Complete notices and legal actions in compliance with housing standards.
• Assist with move-ins and lease renewals; coordinate paperwork.
• Manage work orders and ensure maintenance requests are completed within 48 hours.
