Job summary

The Center for Early Success is seeking a Community Engagement Coordinator to strengthen the organization’s regional presence by building relationships with childcare providers, schools, businesses and civic groups. You will coordinate Connect 360 activities, manage day-to-day social media and communications, and collaborate with external marketing consultants to promote CES programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communication, marketing, public relations, business administration, or related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• Experience in community outreach, communications, marketing coordination, or related work.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, writing, and public speaking skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently and exercise good judgment.
• Experience with organizational social media and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with community organizations, childcare providers, schools, businesses, civic groups, and other stakeholders.
• Proactively identify outreach opportunities, strengthen community partnerships, and increase awareness of CES programs and initiatives.
• Represent CES at community events, meetings, and presentations, including civic and business organizations.
• Support leadership with community presentations, external meetings, and partnership activities.
• Coordinate Connect 360 scheduling, locations, partner participation, resources, staffing, and event logistics.
• Serve as the primary contact for organizations interested in Connect 360 activities.
• Identify opportunities to expand Connect 360's reach into neighborhoods and communities.
• Promote activities, document participation and resources distributed, and provide outreach outcome updates.
• Manage CES social media platforms, content calendars, and post scheduling.
• Coordinate content with external marketing consultants and vendor deliverables.
• Gather program updates, photographs, and community stories for marketing materials and newsletters.
• Coordinate newsletters and electronic communications, including content development and distribution.
• Maintain CES website content and coordinate with vendors on design needs.
• Coordinate promotional materials, press releases, and communications for programs/events including the Annual Symposium and Early Kindergarten Registration.
• Support preparation of organizational reports and internal communications.
