Job summary

The Alzheimer’s Association in Purchase, NY seeks a Community Engagement Manager to lead volunteer-driven community programs and expand reach into underrepresented areas. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of proven experience in recruiting and mobilizing volunteers to achieve goals.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, coach, and manage volunteers to build grassroots movements that meet organizational goals.
• Activate and support volunteers using Association methods such as peer coaching, Mission Conversations, and quality improvement strategies.
• Cultivate and manage community partnerships, including with underrepresented groups, to expand awareness, education, and brand visibility.
• Develop and execute data-informed community impact plans and secure Community Partner Agreements.
• Demonstrate cross-functional collaboration with revenue, advocacy, and leadership to identify awareness opportunities and expand reach.
• Evaluate and improve volunteer performance, and manage budgets, grants, and timelines with precision.
• Inspire urgency and support for the Association's mission across communities with outreach to underserved groups.
• Oversee all aspects of hosting an annual Conference, including logistics, budgeting, and vendor coordination.
