Job summary

The Alzheimer's Association seeks a Community Engagement Manager in Purchase, NY to lead a portfolio of community programs, activations, and volunteer networks across diverse communities.

You will recruit, coach and empower volunteers, build partnerships with underrepresented groups, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to expand awareness, education and support while delivering measurable impact and fiscal stewardship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of proven experience in recruiting and mobilizing volunteers to achieve goals.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, coach, and manage volunteers to build grassroots movements that meet organizational goals.
• Activate and support volunteers using Association methods such as peer coaching, Mission Conversations, and quality improvement strategies.
• Cultivate and manage community partnerships, including with underrepresented groups, to host Community Program offerings.
• Develop and execute data-informed community impact plans and secure Community Partner Agreements.
• Demonstrate cross-functional collaboration to identify awareness opportunities and engage supporters.
• Evaluate and improve volunteer performance, and manage budgets, grants, and timelines.
