Job summary

The Alzheimer’s Association is seeking a Community Engagement Manager, DE&I, based in Purchase, NY. You will lead a volunteer-driven portfolio of programs, expanding reach in underrepresented communities and managing partnerships to raise awareness, education and support.

You will travel up to 60% to mobilize volunteers, coach teams, and implement data-informed impact plans while collaborating with revenue, advocacy and leadership to maximize mission reach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of proven volunteer recruitment and mobilization experience.
• Ability to develop and nurture community relationships and partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, coach, and manage volunteers to build grassroots movements.
• Activate and support volunteers using peer coaching and quality improvement strategies.
• Cultivate and manage community partnerships to host programs and reach new audiences.
• Develop data-informed community impact plans and secure Community Partner Agreements.
• Collaborate across revenue, advocacy, leadership to expand awareness opportunities.
• Evaluate volunteer performance and manage budgets and timelines.
• Inspire support for mission across diverse communities with travel up to 60%.
