Job summary

The Alzheimer’s Association in Purchase, NY seeks a Community Engagement Manager to lead a grassroots volunteer network, expand partnerships, and drive the reach of community programs nationwide.

You will recruit and coach volunteers, engage underrepresented communities, manage a portfolio of program offerings, and contribute day-to-day work and deliveries. This grant-funded role advances outreach, education, and support with a focus on impact and inclusion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years recruiting and mobilizing volunteers.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, coach, and manage volunteers to build grassroots movements.
• Activate and support volunteers using Association methods and quality improvement strategies.
• Cultivate and manage community partnerships including with underrepresented groups.
• Develop and execute data-informed community impact plans with Community Partner Agreements.
• Demonstrate cross-functional collaboration to identify awareness opportunities.
• Evaluate and improve volunteer performance, and manage budgets, grants, and timelines.
• Inspire urgency and support for the Alzheimer’s Association’s mission across diverse communities.
• Oversee all aspects of hosting an annual Conference, including logistics and vendor coordination.
