Job summary

Alzheimer’s Association seeks a Community Engagement Manager in Cape Girardeau, MO to lead volunteer recruitment, coaching, and grassroots mobilization. You will cultivate partnerships with diverse communities, develop data-driven impact plans, and coordinate with internal teams to expand awareness, education and support across our nationwide network.

You’ll manage a team of volunteers, travel up to 60% within the territory, and contribute day-to-day delivery while driving strategic engagement

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
3–5 years of proven experience in recruiting and mobilizing volunteers.

Responsibilities

Recruit, coach, and manage volunteers to build grassroots movements.
Activate and support volunteers using Association methods such as peer coaching and Mission Conversations.
Cultivate and manage community partnerships with underrepresented groups.
Develop and execute data-informed community impact plans and secure Community Partner Agreements.
Demonstrate cross-functional collaboration to identify awareness opportunities across stakeholders.
Evaluate volunteer performance and assist with budgets, grants, and timelines.
Inspire urgency and support for the Alzheimer's Association’s mission across communities.
