Job summary

Anthropic Limited is seeking a Community Engagement Manager for Montana and Utah to serve as our on‑the‑ground presence in local communities. You will connect Anthropic with county and municipal leaders, tribal governments, and civic organizations, ensuring constructive dialogue from site selection through long‑term operations.

You will develop market‑specific engagement strategies, build coalitions, and translate technical plans into clear local benefits while coordinating with policy,

Qualifications

• Experience in community affairs, public affairs or government relations.
• Direct engagement with county/municipal governments on large projects.
• Ability to translate complex plans into plain language for local officials.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain trusted relationships with local government bodies and community groups.
• Engage with Tribal governments and Native communities with respect to projects.
• Develop and execute community engagement strategies for Montana and Utah markets.
• Build coalitions, host sessions, and design local solutions delivering community benefits.
• Represent Anthropic in public forums, hearings, events, and media.
• Monitor sentiment and advise teams on risks and engagement pace.
• Collaborate with Real Estate, Infrastructure, Communications, Energy teams.
• Coordinate charitable giving and economic development commitments.
• Explain environmental stewardship and utility considerations to communities.
• Create a scalable community engagement playbook for growth.
