Job summary

Ronald McDonald House Atlanta seeks a Manager of Events and Community Engagement to lead fundraising events, sponsorships, and corporate partnerships. You will cultivate donors, manage event logistics, and collaborate with the Development team to maximize revenue.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years in fundraising or nonprofit development, with strong relationship-building and CRM proficiency; occasional evenings and travel are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, nonprofit management, marketing, communications, or related field is required.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in fundraising, corporate partnerships, or nonprofit development.
• Proven ability to solicit and secure sponsorships or gifts and to manage donor relationships.
• Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Support identification, cultivation, and solicitation of event sponsors and donors to meet fundraising goals.
• Develop and present customized sponsorship packages aligned with CSR priorities.
• Manage sponsorship fulfillment from commitment through post-event stewardship.
• Maintain active communication with donors and sponsors throughout the event cycle.
• Track sponsorship pipeline and revenue projections in donor management systems.
