Job summary

The Jewish Federation of Southern New Jersey is seeking an Events & Fundraising Coordinator to support events and programs across the federation and partner agencies. The role includes event planning, donor stewardship, gift processing, and development reporting to ensure successful, compliant, and engaging activities for the community.

Responsibilities span event logistics, budget tracking, vendor coordination, registration management, and on-site support, with evenings and weekends as needed

Qualifications

• Experience in event/hospitality coordination.
• Strong customer service skills and communication.
• Background in logistics, planning and administration.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and databases.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and coordinating programs and events, ensuring logistics are in place.
• Support venue bookings, vendor arrangements, and day-of coordination.
• Manage registrations, contracts, and maintain event records.
• Handle inquiries, provide on-site assistance, and communicate clearly with attendees.
• Assist with budgeting, invoicing, and credit card reconciliation.
• Coordinate permits and cross-department fundraising activities.
• Support sponsor outreach and post-event follow-up.
