Coconino County Sheriff's Office (Patrol) seeks a community engagement professional to promote County services and programs while building strong relationships with diverse populations. You will coordinate community outreach, lead volunteer Councils, and guide digital engagement efforts to broaden public participation.

The role requires managing events, partnerships, and branding aligned with County goals, with a focus on accessible, inclusive communication and public safety collaboration.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, public relations, journalism, communications or related field and one year of professional work experience in marketing, public relations, communications, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must obtain an Arizona driver’s license by date of hire and maintain it throughout employment.
• Ability to work outside of normal business hours for events, meetings, training, or emergencies/on-call assignments.

Responsabilidades

• Develops and executes strategic community engagement efforts to increase understanding of County programs and services.
• Implements branding strategies and oversees volunteer Councils.
• Drives digital engagement with social media and web tools to expand public access and participation.
• Cultivates partnerships with outside agencies, community groups, and volunteers to support County initiatives and events.
• Coordinates County representation at community events and plans participation in special events.
• Manages procurement and inventory of County-branded promotional materials and oversees event budgets.
