Job summary

Weisman Children’s Rehabilitation Hospital in Marlton, NJ is seeking a Part-Time Community Engagement Coordinator to connect families and referral sources with our pediatric services, especially Medical Day Care and Outpatient Programs. You’ll be the face of Weisman Children’s in the community, building relationships with physicians, schools, and local organizations.

This role emphasizes outreach, events, and strategic visits across your territory, plus collaboration with the communications team

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (Public Health, Human Services or related discipline preferred).
• 3+ years of experience in community outreach, healthcare marketing, or referral development preferred.
• Proven success building partnerships with physician offices, government or community programs, schools, and/or agencies.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred — many families we serve are Spanish-speaking.

Responsibilities

• Grow awareness and referrals by building relationships with doctors, hospitals, schools, and local organizations.
• Represent Weisman Children’s at community events and outreach activities; occasional nights and weekends required.
• Plan and conduct in-person visits and strategic outreach across your assigned territory.
• Collaborate with the Communications team to develop and distribute marketing materials.

We are recruiting for a Part-Time Community Engagement Coordinator to join our skilled team of pediatric professionals. This position is benefits eligible.

Position Summary

Weisman Children’s is lookingfor a passionate, collaborative Community Engagement Coordinator to helpconnect families and referral sources to our full spectrum of pediatricservices — with a special focus on Medical Day Care and OutpatientPrograms.

In this role, you’ll be the faceof Weisman Children’s across our community, building meaningful relationshipswith physicians, schools, social agencies, and other key stakeholders. You’llwork to grow awareness, increase referrals, and help ensure more children andfamilies have access to our exceptional care.

What You’ll Do

Grow Awareness & Referrals

• Build andmaintain relationships with community partners, including doctors,hospitals, schools, and local organizations
• RepresentWeisman Children’s at community events, professional meetings, andoutreach activities; occasional nights and weekends required
• Plan andconduct in-person visits and strategic outreach across your assignedterritory
• Collaboratewith the Communications team to develop and distribute marketing materials

Engage & Communicate

• Clearlyexplain and promote our service lines, ensuring referral sourcesunderstand who we serve and how we help
• Providethoughtful feedback from the community to our leadership, helping shapefuture services
• Facilitateconnections between community members and our internal teams to create aseamless referral experience

Track & Report Progress

• Use ourCRM system to track outreach, plan follow-ups, and document referralactivity
• Monitorgrowth goals, identify trends, and present updates to leadership
• Offerinsights and ideas that help strengthen programs and outreach strategy

What You Bring

• Bachelor’sdegree required (Public Health, Human Services or related discipline preferred)
• 3+ yearsof experience in community outreach, healthcare marketing, or referraldevelopment preferred
• Provensuccess building partnerships with physician offices, government or communityprograms, schools, and/or agencies
• Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred — many of the families andcommunities we serve are Spanish-speaking
• Excellentinterpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Passionateabout engaging with families and community partners across diverse cultural andsocioeconomic backgrounds, including urban and underserved areas
• Comfortablewith CRM platforms and data tracking
• Strongorganizational skills and a proactive, self-directed work style
