Job summary

Univision Communications Inc. seeks a Community Empowerment Specialist to drive outreach, manage community partnerships, and assist with content production for the local weekly community affairs program.

You will coordinate events, engage with nonprofits and officials, and help ensure FCC compliance and public file maintenance while supporting employee engagement initiatives. The role requires bilingual English/Spanish communication, strong relationship-building abilities, and the ability to

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in public relations or another communications field, social science, or business.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a revenue-driven environment.
• Strong time management and organizational skills to meet tight deadlines.
• Effective written and verbal communication with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Liaison with Corporate CSR/SIS Primary Point Person for Corporate Social Impact team. Deliver and report back on CSR/Social Impact Corporate campaigns/Content initiatives.
• Community Partnerships: lead relationships with community leaders, non-profits, officials and candidates; coordinate events and partnerships.
• Content Creator/Producer: assist with production of the local weekly community affairs program and PSAs; manage community calendar and online postings.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in public relations or another communications field, social science, or business
