Adams Police Department in Adams, MA is seeking an experienced Chief of Police to provide strategic leadership and community-oriented policing. The successful candidate will oversee department operations, staffing, training, budgeting, and resource allocation while ensuring compliance with Massachusetts laws and professional standards.

The Chief will be appointed by the Select Board, engage with residents and partners, and foster transparency, accountability, and strong public trust in policing.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in law enforcement, criminal justice or a related field.
• 10–15 years of experience in law enforcement.
• At least 5 years in a supervisory role.
• Massachusetts driver's license or ability to obtain one.
• Massachusetts Firearms License or ability to obtain one.
• Must meet MA Peace Officer Standards and Training Commission requirements.
