Job summary

Citizens Energy Group in Indianapolis, Indiana, seeks a Community Assistance and Case Resolution Specialist to coordinate energy efficiency programs, manage case workflows, and oversee vendor activities in a compliant, customer-focused role.

Qualifications

• Two-year degree or equivalent experience in utility, community engagement, or energy efficiency management.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate at all levels within the company, including senior leadership.
• Budget management skills.
• Valid State of Indiana Driver's License with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Manages and coordinates energy efficiency, conservation, weatherization, and low-income assistance programs.
• Oversee third party vendors install energy efficiency appliances and weatherizing owner-occupied homes.
• Collaborate with Community Action Agencies, Consumer Advocate Groups, and regulatory stakeholders.
• Assist with cases received from IURC, BBB, executive leadership offices, and other external organizations.
• Ensure compliance with Terms and Conditions, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead community outreach including Neighborhood and Community Meetings and Community Resource Day.
• Manage a portfolio of community investment and customer assistance programs with oversight of budget, performance, contracts, and reporting.
• Support management of customer case resolution processes and optimize the Dynamics case management system.
• Provide leadership to ambassadors and stakeholders through planning, communication, and program development.
