Work Opportunities Unlimited in New Hampshire is seeking an experienced Community Employment Coach (Career Resource Specialist) to provide long-term, on-site job support and coaching to help individuals achieve independence in their community.

You will advocate for workplace success, support participation in volunteer and recreational activities, and provide occasional transportation with mileage reimbursement. A valid driver’s license and local travel are required.

• Experience in high-touch customer service environments.
• Desire to positively impact lives and support independence.
• Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team.
• Willingness to travel within the local community and drive.

Community Employment Coaches (known internally as a Career Resource Specialist) engage individuals in work, recreation, and other personal activities that promote living a preferred lifestyle in their community. Work & Community Support gives the individual the opportunity to participate in activities that will put them on a path to independence.

A typical day might include the following:

• Provide long-term, on-site, job support for the duration of an individual’s employment

• Serve as their coach and advocate to foster success in the workplace

• Support their participation in volunteer and/or other recreational activities to help develop self-advocacy, independent living and communication skills
• Provide occasional transportation to interviews and other essential employment milestones, while supporting individuals towards independent community travel. (mileage reimbursement provided)

Additional requirements include:

• Valid driver’s license and comfortable traveling within your local community

• Monday - Friday, daytime business hours (minimum 25 hours for part-time)

• Comfortable using MS Office, documenting notes in an electronic system, and accessing apps on a mobile device

Pay: $20-$22 per hour
