Hospital for Special Surgery is seeking a per diem, part-time video education content developer with a background in health education and public health. The role supports research, production, and post-production workflows for digital platforms, including YouTube, with collaboration across departments.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree and 1-2 years of relevant experience, strong Microsoft Office skills, and excellent attention to detail.

• Bachelor's Degree required; 1-2 years of experience preferred.
• Interest in public health, video production or health education content development.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) required.

Mansioni

• Assist with research and development of engaging health education content by identifying timely topics, clinical experts, and key opportunities.
• Plan and coordinate pre-production logistics; schedule and organize video shoots across departments.
• Assist with content development and production for digital platforms, ensuring high-quality materials for platforms (e.g., YouTube).
• Support post-production workflows including video editing, accessibility and compliance, and platform uploads.
• Track and analyze video performance metrics to inform reach and strategy.
• Assist with video marketing by selecting and promoting monthly content and monitoring engagement metrics.
• Collaborate with social media and marketing teams to post video content and optimize descriptions, keywords, and metrics.
• Assist with accessibility software management; review and maintain captioning files.
• Provide administrative support during livestream webinars produced in the Media Studio.
• Assist with interdepartmental communications for production; talent scheduling and footage requests.
• Maintain production timelines and video files using project management software.
• Support Community Education & Outreach initiatives and respond to ad-hoc requests.
