Job summary

St Louis Co ISD 2142 is seeking a part-time Community Education Coordinator at Northeast Range School in Babbitt, MN. This position supports community education events and family activities, with up to 13.75 hours per week at $16.00/hour in a close-knit team environment.

Responsibilities include planning and evaluating programs, organizing adult classes, supervising the fitness center and pool, screening instructors, and preparing quarterly reports while maintaining a safe setting and attending

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Excellent communication skills with parents/guardians and staff.

• Completes quarterly reports including expenses, revenue, and attendance by age groups.
• Maintains a safe and healthy environment.
• Attends in-service training and team meetings.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Position Hours:Up to 13.75 hours per week
Location:Northeast Range School -Babbitt, MN
Wage: $16.00/hour
This position is part of our Community Education program in which this opportunity enjoys a close team environment and responsibility in coordinating our Community Education events, programs, and family activities for our Northeast Range School.

The position responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Plans and organizes community education programs based on the interests and needs of the community.


• Regularly evaluates effectiveness and participation in programs and makes appropriate recommendations to the Community Education Director.


• Organizes and implements adult education classes in the community consistent with interest, enrollment, and need.


• Responsible for the supervision and overall oversight of the fitness center and pool operations.


• Finds and screens instructors for community education classes and programs.


• Complete quarterly reports and send to District Office to include expenses, revenue, and program attendance numbers by age groups.


• Maintain a safe and healthy environment.


• Attend in-service training and team meetings.


• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED


• Must be 18 years of age or older


• Excellent communication skills and ability to create relationshipswith parents/guardians, community, and staff.
