Job summary

Northfield Public Schools is seeking part-time Community School Licensed Teachers for Community Education across Greenvale Park, Spring Creek, Bridgewater and Middle School. Hours are up to 8 per week, 3:30–5:00pm with some evenings. Candidates must hold a current MN teaching license and have experience with K-8 curriculum and behavior management.

Positions begin 9/21/2026 and end 5/14/2027; background checks are required. Location: All Schools; compensation up to $40/hr with sick time accrual.

Scheduled Hours/Days:Up to 8 hours/week. M-Th, 3:30-5 (some evening options)
Qualifications Required:Current MN Teaching license. Experience in creating and implementing curriculum for K-8 students in a school setting, as well as overseeing student behavior and outcomes. Ensuring activities for youth have opportunities for social connections and emotional learning and reflection. Be an energetic, patient and caring adult. Must be able to adapt to an ever-changing environment. Must be able to work independently and on a team.
Pay Rate/Range:$40/hr.
Compensation/Benefits/Perks: An employee earns one hour of sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked and can earn a maximum of 48 hours each year.
Deadline: 8/28/2026-- EOE (8/5/2026) Employment is contingent upon completion of a background check.
