Job summary

The Association for Individual Development (AID) is seeking a Direct Support Professional – Community Day Services to work with clients who have intellectual, developmental, or behavioral needs. You will provide meaningful activities, training, and classes under supervision, implement plans, and maintain documentation while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.

This full-time role requires physical ability, 18+ years old, and a commitment to safety and compassion in diverse community

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year of experience with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities preferred.
• Ability to complete DHS-approved Direct Support Person training within 120 days or already on registry.

Responsibilities

• Provide enhanced support and supervision per plans and strategies.
• Engage clients in daily activities and community outings.
• Maintain documentation, incident reports, and attendance.
• Support medical and dietary needs daily as assigned.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to meet client goals.
