Job summary

Goodwill Industries SELA is seeking a Retail Associate in Zachary, LA. This full-time, entry-level role supports retail operations, cashier duties, and backroom logistics while providing a welcoming customer experience.

You will assist donors and customers, stock shelves, and help maintain a clean, safe store environment. Prior service industry experience is a plus; training is provided.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Prior work in service industry preferred but not required.
• Must successfully complete Retail training.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Operate cash register and process payments accurately.
• Sort, hang, price, and display garments and items.
• Restock floor and keep backroom organized.
• Assist donors and customers, issue receipts.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety.
• Monitor for suspicious activity and report to management.
