Job summary

Goodwill Industries SELA in Mandeville, LA seeks a Retail Associate to join our Retail Operations team. This full-time, entry-level position supports donors and customers, processes transactions, and maintains a clean, organized sales floor.

You will perform backroom work, restock, assist with security, follow safety procedures, and help promote our mission. Excellent communication and reliability are essential; training provided.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Prior work experience in service industry preferred but not required.
• Must successfully complete Retail training.

Responsibilities

• To perform the general duties necessary for the efficient operation of the Company’s retail stores.
• To operate cash register, receive payment for purchases and record sales and other transactions.
• To sort and hang garments, price equipment and merchandise, and prepare for display.
• To transfer merchandise from back room to sales floor and maintain a clean workstation.
• To restock garments and household items and assist in security and customer information.
