Job summary

National General, part of The Allstate Corporation, is seeking a Direct Sales Agent Specialist to drive growth by securing new business, cross-selling existing customers, and building lasting relationships locally.

You will sell to customers in person and by phone, maintaining a strong book of business while expanding through community involvement and outside marketing efforts. Competitive base pay with incentives is offered.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in sales or insurance roles.
• P&C licensing preferred or must attain licensure within 90 days of joining.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales goals through new business, cross-sell, and retention.
• Build and maintain a consistent pipeline with local lead gen and referrals.
• Develop relationships in the community to support business growth.
• Conduct outbound prospecting and follow-ups to convert opportunities.
• Partner with leadership on sales and local marketing initiatives.
• Stay informed on products, underwriting guidelines, and market competition.
• Deliver results aligned with performance standards, compliance, and CX.
