Job summary

National General Holdings Corp., a member of the Allstate family, seeks a Direct Sales Agent Specialist to drive growth through new business, cross-sell, and retention in local markets. You will build a strong pipeline, develop community relationships, and conduct outbound prospecting to convert opportunities into sales.

You will work both in person and by phone, with a base hourly rate and uncapped monthly incentive opportunities. Day‑one benefits and comprehensive training are provided.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience
• P&C licensing (Preferred) or must attain required licensure within 90 days of joining the company

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales goals through new business, cross-sell, and retention
• Build and maintain a consistent pipeline, including local lead generation and referrals
• Develop relationships within the community to support business growth
• Conduct outbound prospecting and follow-ups to convert opportunities into sales
• Partner with leadership to support sales and local marketing initiatives
• Stay informed on products, underwriting guidelines, and market competition
• Deliver results aligned with performance standards, compliance requirements, and customer experience expectations
